Edgar is partner of the Firm. He has more than 20 years of experience advising financial entities, funds and other participants in financial regulation, local and international credit agreements, corporate law, financial derivatives, investment vehicles and private equity funds, local and international issuances, foreign investments, exchange controls, securities operations, among others.
Edgar has worked in both the public and private sector en through his association with international and local law firms. He has also been part of the legal areas of different entities, including: Citibank, Davivienda and the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit.

- Has advised local and international lenders in multiple financing transactions in favor of Colombian borrowers.
- Has advised several entities in the financial, insurance and stock market sectors regarding applicable law to their operations in Colombia.
- Has advised multiple issuers in respect of local or international issuances.
- Has participated as member of multiple committees of private equity funds.
- Has advised multiple financial entities in mergers and acquisitions transactions.
- Has advised supervised or non-supervised entities during filings before the Colombian Financial Superintendence.
- Has advised several financial entities in the structuring of financial products.
